Our Whirlpool washing machine began having issues during the "spin" cycle, making rumbling noises and shaking violently. We reset the load, figuring it was just out of balance. (It's a 2019 model and just passed the 3 year extended warranty, purchased at the time of sale. Isnt that always the case ?) I called Jeff, who verified the tension rods were the problem. So nice to speak with him and set up the procedures for replacement. He returned my call promptly and also offered options for our machines repair. I highly recommend Jeff for any issues with your appliances. 5 stars ! Thanks Jeff !
Wow! What a nice guy Jeffery is! I have a front load LG washer which wouldn't go out of Control Lock. On the phone, He walked me thru steps to "unlock". And sure enough after trying a few times, IT WORKS! It's the Aloha spirit on the island that is so great! And he has it! It works!

I would highly recommend Affordable Appliance. I had an issue with a Maytag front load washer that was showing multiple error codes and not draining properly. He responded quickly and was able to come out the next day. He resolved the issue and showed me how to fix it if it happens again.

I have worked with Jeff on several occasions and have been absolutely pleased with everything and deserves five stars. I have a dishwasher that hasn't been working correctly, he took a look at it and ordered a part and asked me to get in touch with him in two weeks to remind him to bring the part up and do the repair. It has been almost 7 weeks now and he has not returned numerous voice mail messages, texts and I even tried to schedule an appointment on his website. No response. I don't know what is going on but I need to find someone else because obviously he is unavailable. I'm giving him three stars based on my previous experience with him and factoring in this latest issue. Just the common courtesy of a response that "hey I got your message and I'll get back to you as soon as I can" would be appropriate.

I reached out to Jeff regarding an intermittent issue with my GE washer/dryer set, where the dryer would unexpectedly stop working. Jeff responded quickly after the holidays, when I couldn't get in touch with anyone else. When he arrived, the dryer miraculously started working again, but Jeff had already done his research and identified the issue. He provided a temporary solution in case it happened again while we waited for the part. Just over a week later, the part arrived, and Jeff replaced the dryer motor, while guests were staying at my vacation rental. I highly recommend Jeff for his services. His prompt response, expertise, and professionalism made the whole process smooth and stress-free. Plus, he is very reasonable with his rates.

Jeff was great! Our GE side-by-side refrigerator was not cooling (but still running). We live off Island and use our condo as a STVR when we are not there. He communicated clearly with me about his arrival, fixed our fridge in a timely manner and did not disturb our guests. I really appreciated his follow up call with all the details about the issues. He did not perform extra costly work; instead he got our refrigerator working again and then let me know about options for future work if the issue continues. I have a 5 year old LG refrigerator that broke down on me. Apparently, the compressor needed to be replaced. I was fortunate to connect with Jeffrey from Affordable Appliance Maintenance and Repair. Jeffery went above and beyond to help me. He always responded back to me in a timely manner. He’s honest, fair, and professional. Jeffrey fixed my refrigerator and got it back to working quickly. I am so happy my LG refrigerator is up and running again. I am so grateful for Jeffrey at Affordable Appliance Maintenance and Repair. I would highly recommend his business and services. I contacted Jeff because my 5 year old Maytag washer was making a banging noise, violently shaking off balance during the final “spin” cycle. It needed help. Based on my Maytag model, Jeff ordered the necessary parts and a week later contacted me to set up an appointment for repair. With the appointment made, he kept in touch through email and text, notifying us with his arrival time. Once here he quickly assessed what needed to be done and completed the repair within 30 minutes. The cost to repair is relative. Do it yourself and hope you’re doing it right, or call Jeff and he’ll make sure it’s good to go. There’s only two of us, washing twice a week, so it’s frustrating that a washer can only last 5 years before needing repair. We all know “they just don’t make’m like they use to”.

I called Jeffrey to come and troubleshoot and repair my GE washing machine. He not only diagnosed quickly, but also has a great attitude, is a patient listener and offered great advice in helping decide to repair the machine or to replace it. Called for assistance with my whirlpool stove and this business was at my house and done with the repair within a hour . Very good service . I’ll be calling them again for all my appliance repairs. Mahalo
Jeffery came in and fixed our issue with our oven in as little as 15 minutes. He even educated us with another appliance in our kitchen before he left about a common issue that occurs in them. Told us to give him a call within the 5 year manufacturer warranty for a free fix if anything were to happen. Overall experience is a 10/10 recommend.

Jeffrey Watts is a master technician. Firstly he was on time when promised. My first impression was his friendly demeanor. He is a former marine served in Iraq. Mentioned that because I'm a Navy Vietnam veteran and I volunteer to drive veterans to doctors appts. andI support my fellow veterans. He removed my GE microwave above my range and installed a new one in its place with the least amount of time. He wanted to cleanup which is admirable but I refused. He also gave me a quick lesson on my electric dryer which was inoperable. A switch was order from previous repairman as problem. Well he told me before he fix it that the switch was not the problem. He was right. Said it's the thermostat. Within a minute he replace the thermostat and with old switch dryer came on. He didn't charge me but the original estimate for labor was $171.00. knowing what I seen done could have saved labor cost and do it myself .I definitely recommend Jeffrey Watts for all your appliance needs I am proud to know him as a father and family man. It's a pleasure to do business with the owner of the business who cares about the quality of his work. Jeffrey's got 20 plus years experience in what he does. He's super professional, super knowledgeable, super nice guy. If you're reading this, give him a call you won't be disappointed I can guarantee that. As a fellow technician in a different trade I know I could have done the job myself. Where do I start , well my parents washing machine went out of commission and right away I google appliance repair near me. And affordable appliance maintenance repair came up on top of the list from all repair businesses. So I called the number and Jeffrey answered within 2 rings, I told him the situation of the washer and he ask me couple questions about the machine of which I did not know. All I know is that it just stop working. He mentioned that the reason why he ask the questions was, he was trying to save me a couple bucks and he wanted to see if I could fix it over the phone with him telling what to do with it. Which was by the way is I think very professional and easy cool for him to do that. Needless to say I was not able to fix it. So he scheduled me for the next day because he was already booked. Next day came my appointment was at 12 and he showed up on time and ready. Met him very cool guy and easy to talk to and very professional and most of all very knowledgeable on his profession. He mentioned he had been doing this for over 20 years. So he went to work and diagnosed the machine took him about 5 minutes and he told me straight up, if he was to repair the machine it would almost cost as much as a new one, he was not beating around the bush. Very straight up kind of guy. He found 3 things wrong with the machine that’s why it would cost as much as a new one and the machine is old too. So I just decided that I would buy a new one it’s time for new machine. I would definitely highly recommend Jeffrey Watts for all maintenance and repair on appliances. Called about a broken LG dishwasher; Jeff was on time, professional, and diagnosed the issue in about 30 minutes. We had to order a replacement part from Oahu so it took a few days, but the price was reasonable and my dishwasher now works like it did when it was brand new. Overall, very positive experience!

I called Chris at 3pm and before 4pm he was at my gate. Needless to say I was in shock. Anyone who lives on the Big Island knows the average service call is weeks out. He promptly assessed my thermostat responses and concluded it was a blown fuse in my AC unit. What I had been working on for days he resolved in minutes. He suggested I replace my dirty filters and gave me the exact item number to ask for as well as where to shop for the best price. I asked Chris a lot questions and any answer he didn't know he pulled out his phone and looked it up.

I can't say enough good things about this company. Everyone here on the Island is busy and Chris (the Owner) fit us in and worked hard to get our difficult replacement A/C system installed. We got another quote before we called Chris and knew we were being taken advantage of. I will not tell you the price difference but it was HUGE. Let me say that we sent these guys to dinner and drinks on us after they left our place at 9:30 pm on a Friday night.
